Do you really offer FREE Shipping?

YES, on most items! Order total MUST be over $300.

We have warehouse and delivery associates all over USA including but not limited to New Jersey, New York, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Los Angeles, San Francisco. If the shipping zip code falls within close range of our warehouse, you will receive FREE basic delivery. Please note all our items are categorized according to warehouse zones. Prices may be different for different zones. Please check "Availability" section to see if you qualify for FREE delivery. OR, simply ask us on LIVECHAT or Text us at 888-901-4595 with the productcode and your zip code. We will happily check if you qualify for FREE SHIPPING.

If your zip code falls outside our FREE shipping zone, the shipping charges will be $150-$275. You will be notified via email. Please be assured, no funds will be taken out of your account until you authorize.


Some orders may go through online with a "FREE SHIPPING METHOD" but will not process if the conditions are not met. Each order is carefully checked by our billing department before the payment is processed. The Furniture Authority may change the fulfillment warehouse in order to fulfill an order, irrespective of the warehouse customer ordered from. Any changes to shipping costs will be at Furniture Authority's discretion. Apartment deliveries have a minimum surcharge of $25 for "outside apartment building drop off delivery". Some cities with apartments don't allow trucks to be parked on the streets, please mention this at the time of placing an order. The drivers can not leave their trucks, if that's the case and you will be charged an additional $75 in case this was not reported ahead of time and driver wasn't notified. You know your delivery location better than we do.

Drop off basic box deliveries to apartments is an additional minimum $75 per flight of stairs. All deliveries are 1-person delivery and your help maybe required by the driver.

All orders under $3000 are consolidated orders. Out of zone deliveries can take approximately 4-6 weeks. Orders less than $300 will need to be confirmed via order department. Due to promotional pricing, and excellent personalized shipping experience, we might not be able to fulfill orders below $300 with FREE shipping. We ship 99% of our orders via personalized local delivery associates or LTL carriers.


All FREE Shipping, curbside deliveries are your responsibility to unload the heavy items off the truck. If you need liftgate service, there's an additional charge of $100.
Liftgate service is an add-on accessorial service in addition to any freight charges that you may have paid.

FREE shipping on Homey Design items is available only within California. Shipping estimates vary according to items you purchase with a minimum charge of $250.

We ship from warehouses all over USA. At times we are able to transfer orders from warehouses and there's an additional freight cost add-on. Please remain assured- no order is processed until you agree about any out of zone / add-on freight costs. The final mile delivery is done by local delivery associates from local warehouses.




How do I cancel my order?

CANCELLATION FEES:
-same day - 5% of Order Amount
-after 1 day but before item shipped - 10% of Order Amount
- if the order has been dispatched - 20% of Order Amount
-after item shipped and is on its way - 30% of Order Amount plus actual round trip freight charges (to cover above and freight recall fee, even if you were given free delivery).

- 30% re-stocking fee, plus actual round trip freight charges, if you cancel the order during warehouse transfer process.

CANCELLATION / RESTOCKING FEE after item reaches you - 30% of Order Amount PLUS 2-way Freight (to cover above and warehouse restocking fee PLUS freight both ways). The cancellation fees on special orders and discontinued item orders will be 50% plus cost of warehouse transfer freight charges ($100 minimum).

Cancellation of orders that are on backorder- If you agreed to wait for an order and the payment has been processed, minimum cancellation charge is 10%. Please make sure you are able to wait. No exceptions! Cancellation fee applies.

It is YOUR responsibility to read our terms and conditions before placing an order. Our free delivery zones clearly posted on our website and also under "availability tab" under each product listing. Any order that has been wrongly ordered from a wrong zone with an incorrect shipping method and a customer service be involved in cancelling incurs a 5% minimum cancellation charge. Please make sure to go through an entire listing and terms and conditions before placing an order.

If you are ordering a floor model/ closeout/ discontinued item, please note we cannot be held responsible about replacements or parts for defective pieces. All 
floor model/ closeout / discontinued products are sold on an AS-IS basis. All orders with floor model/ closeout/ discontinued products are FINAL SALES. NO RETURNS/ NO EXCHANGES!! No exceptions!

We reserve the right to cancel any orders placed with us. Should we choose to cancel an order our liability is limited to one dollar.

It takes 1-2 weeks for the refunds to be processed, after return shipment inspection of merchandise at warehouse. All refunds allowed as store credits only.



What if my order arrives damaged?
Our products are well-packaged to withstand damage during shipping. We refuse to carry products that are easily damaged during shipping. All our products go through a pre-inspection stage before shipping out. If an item looks damaged or parts are missing, you may conveniently request replacement parts by emailing us at [email protected] with your order# in the subject. We will make every effort to help you obtain the necessary replacements as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you. The delivery associate will contact you directly to schedule delivery time window appointment. Please inspect in front of driver. If arrives damaged, driver will take it back and bring a replacement free of cost. If found damaged after driver leaves, you will be responsible to bring back to warehouse or pay for delivery fee (minimum $75 or more) to receive a free replacement. If comes damaged and you decide you don't want a replacement, then it will fall under return policy of "customer changed their mind" restocking fees and shipping fees applies (even if the initial delivery was free).
Driver will give you a drop off time window. It is "your responsibility" to make arrangements, have help ready and be available to receive and inspect the delivery products. If you instruct the driver to drop off (while you are not at home to receive furniture) and leave, you are waiving any claims in case furniture has any damages. It is very important to point out and refuse delivery, if damaged, as the driver can simply take it back. But, if they need to make an additional trip, then it would cost you a delivery fee (even if the initial delivery was free). Replacement orders must be resolved within a reasonable timeframe of 30 days. Furniture Authority may decline to replace orders if resolution time has passed. No exceptions.

If your order is shipping by Truck Freight Carrier, please note the important instructions below.
Shipping via Freight Carrier

Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when you sign for delivery. This is VERY important. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery of the package. The damaged package will be returned to us and we will send you a new one. If you refuse delivery, please notify us so that we can expect the return shipment.If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please contact us right away and we will ship you the replacement parts free of charge. Speed matters since most carriers only let us file freight claims within 48 hours of delivery. If we cannot replace the parts, we will have the carrier pick up the package and we will send you a replacement. All returned products should be in the original packaging.
Our goal is to make buying online easy, safe and efficient.If you decide you do not want parts or a replacement unit, the item can be returned under our standard return policy.Any claim of damage that is not noted on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt is your responsibility to pursue directly with the Trucking Company. KEEP DAMAGED FURNITURE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING UNTIL FURTHER INSTRUCTED.

-Picture of entire item to verify product

-Picture of white sticker that shows manufacture date (usually on the back of the product or on the box the product came in)

-Exact part number you require (you can look up from the assembly instructions)

We reserve the right to repair furniture in customer's home or accept return for repair and/or replacement. Regretfully, we can only authorize full refund in the rare event when we are unable to repair or replace (or find replacement part for) the item, ONLY if the customer notated in the delivery receipt of the damage.
We also expect our customers to accept delivery appointment for any repairs or replacement furniture to complete the order process. We also expect customer's full cooperation in case a pickup is required. Customer's need to make themselves available for our delivery associates to arrange pickup. Customer's full cooperation is required to expedite the resolution.

It is important that you inspect the furniture for damages upon delivery, if an item is found defective, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you. If the damage is found after the delivery service leaves, we can still repair or replace that item but we will charge you for the delivery service.

Please note, if an item has been shipped and received by you, under no circumstance the delivery fee will be refunded. We pay the delivery company and hence, the service has been performed and non-refundable.



PICKUP FURNITURE

If you pickup the furniture from warehouse yourselves, you need to make sure it's in good condition before you accept it. We do not accept any returns or exchanges for merchandise picked up by customers that's transported by themselves.


How do i return the items?

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from The-Furniture-Authority.com, simply send us an email within 2 days of the delivery. All discontinued items are final sale. No returns or exchanges.
All Returns must have a Return Authorization Number. You can obtain a RA# by emailing us at [email protected]
You will be responsible for round trip freight and a 30% restocking fee will be applied to your refund. All refunds will be issued as a store credit only. If you should need to return or exchange any item(s):
Item(s) being returned must be in manufacturer's original carton and must include all packaging materials and accessories, if applicable.
When shipping merchandise back, please wrap the item(s) in a sturdy box and secure with strong tape. For your protection, insure it for its value.
Return the package prepaid. (Sorry, we cannot accept COD)
Please note that we cannot accept back any item(s) which appears to have been used. In such cases there might be a thirty percent re-stocking fee (thirty percent of the purchase price).
